Story Finder

Information tells people what you know. Stories show them how you learned it, and stories are what they remember. Story Finder finds the stories you already have (your origin, turning points, client wins, lessons), then helps you tell them with 10 proven storytelling frameworks. It never makes up details: anything only you can know is left as a blank for you to fill.

It lives at evyus.com/stories, it is free and needs no signup. Finding and writing stories uses AI models on our server; the stories you save stay in your own browser.

  • Anyone who wants content people remember, not just tips.
  • Anyone who says “I don’t have any stories.” You do; this finds them.
  • Anyone who has never told their story and wants a gentle place to start.

On Find stories, enter Your website and Your LinkedIn profile URL (your name and anything else, like a bio or a podcast transcript, are optional) and press Find my stories. Story Finder reads public pages and comes back with 8 to 12 story moments, each labeled (origin, turning point, client win, lesson, belief, problem, milestone) with the facts it found and the questions only you can answer. Press Tell this story on any of them, or Save to Story Bank.

Already have a moment in mind? Use Build a story: tap the mic and say What happened?, choose Who is the hero? (Me, A client or customer or My company), and press Build this story.

Pick a framework shows the frameworks that fit your story best, and What are you trying to do? re-ranks them by your goal. The frameworks include Before-After-Bridge, Challenge-Choice-Outcome, the Hero’s Journey, Problem-Agitate-Solution, StoryBrand, the Story Spine and the Open Loop. The 10 frameworks tab explains each one with an example.

The outline fills each beat with the facts it has, and leaves a blank for anything it cannot know, with a question and a mic so you can just talk your answer.

Press Write my story and pick the format: a LinkedIn post, a Facebook post, an email or a 60-second video script. You get the story, the meaning in one line, and a few hook options (Use this swaps in a different first line). A fact check compares every sentence with what you shared and turns anything made up back into a blank, and the page tells you how many details it removed.

Then Copy, Polish in evyAI (opens the evyAI Agent with your story), Schedule this, or Save to Story Bank. The evyAI Writer buttons can also turn any story into a post, carousel, video script and more.

  • First time? Start here walks you through a 60-second story, one short beat at a time with a mic on each, or has you answer just one question.
  • The 101 Questions to Find Your Story page lists questions by chapter, from light to deep.
  • Build my interview turns those questions into an interview of the length you choose (about 6 minutes per question). Pick who asks: an AI in voice mode, someone else (with a printable run sheet and a share link), or yourself, one question at a time with a clock that warns you but never cuts you off. Paste the transcript back and Find the stories in it.
  • My lifeline charts the highs and lows of your life by year. Help me remember gives prompts by life stage, and Find my thread shows the thread that runs through your story and the stories worth telling first.
  • Finished stories in the format you chose, with blanks only you can fill.
  • My stories: every story you saved, with Download all.
  • My Story Bank: every story you can tell, with its lesson, setup, conflict, resolution, category, usage status and marketing themes. Add your own with Add a story, turn any of them into a full story with Write it with a framework, and back up with Export all (JSON) or Export all (TXT). Moving from the old evyAI Story Bank? Export there, then Import from file (JSON) here.

Story Finder is a “make it” step of the content loop on the evyAI Tools overview, next to the Post Editor and the Carousel Maker.

  • Schedule this on a written story, and Schedule on every saved story and Story Bank card, opens the Content Calendar with the story ready as a story post: pick a day, or leave the date blank to keep it in the backlog.
  • Your Story Bank stories also show up in the Content Calendar’s Pull from your tools panel, under Stories, ready to drag onto a day.
  • Story Finder only reads public pages. If your website or LinkedIn says little about you, expect more blanks; your answers fill them.
  • Finding stories has a small free daily limit, shown on the page.
  • Saved stories, your Story Bank, interview and lifeline live in this browser on this computer. Export them to keep a backup.
  • Polish in evyAI and the evyAI Writer need an evyAI account.
  • Questions or ideas go to Request a tool or Report a problem at evyus.com/tools/whats-new.
