Pipeline Stage Builder
Most people never build a pipeline because they do not know what the stages should be. Pipeline Stage Builder asks a few plain questions, shows your board taking shape with a rule, a next move and a time limit for every stage, then hands it to evyAI to turn into a full plan.
It lives at evyus.com/tools/pipeline-builder, it is free, needs no login, and runs in your browser: your answers stay on your own computer. The final plan is written by the evyAI Agent, which needs an evyAI account.
Who it’s for
Section titled “Who it’s for”- Anyone who has a CRM (or a spreadsheet) and no idea what the columns should be.
- Networkers, podcasters, speakers and partnership builders who want a simple board for relationships, not only for sales.
- Anyone whose pipeline is full of cards that never move.
The idea behind it
Section titled “The idea behind it”A stage is where the other person is right now, not a task you did. “Waiting on a reply” is a stage. “Sent email” is a task.
Name your columns by where the other person is, and the board tells you what to do next. Every relationship moves along the same 7 steps: Find, Reach, Connect, Talk, Agree, Deliver, Keep. Your pipeline uses only the ones it needs, and every stage needs four things:
- A “they are here when” rule: one sentence that must be true to move the card.
- One next move: the same action for everyone in the column.
- A time limit: how many days a card can sit before it goes stale.
- A way out: Won, Not now (with a date to come back) or Lost (with a reason). Quiet is not lost.
The page explains all of this at the top. Use Hide the framework once you have it.
How it works
Section titled “How it works”flowchart LR A[Answer a few<br/>questions] --> B[Your board] B --> C[Edit and check] C -->|Build my pipeline plan in evyAI| D[Full plan in evyAI]1. What is this pipeline for?
Section titled “1. What is this pipeline for?”Pick one outcome: win clients, build relationships, referral partners, book podcast guests, get booked on podcasts, land speaking gigs, fill an event or webinar, reactivate past clients, or something else. One pipeline per outcome, because the stages are different. You can come back and build another.
2. Who goes in it, and how do you reach them?
Section titled “2. Who goes in it, and how do you reach them?”Describe the people in one line, where you find them, how you usually make the first move, and what the real conversation step looks like.
3. What does winning look like?
Section titled “3. What does winning look like?”Say what Won means, how you keep the relationship going after a win, how long first touch to Won usually takes, how many wins you want in the next 90 days and how much time you can give it each week. Not sure how many wins you need? The Lead Calculator works it out from your numbers.
4. About you
Section titled “4. About you”Your name, your business and one “I help [who] [do what]” line, so evyAI can write the messages in your voice. Fill from my Networking Templates profile pulls these in if you have already filled in the Networking Templates.
5. Your tools and your biggest struggle
Section titled “5. Your tools and your biggest struggle”Pick where the pipeline will live (HubSpot, Pipedrive, a Google Sheet, “Nothing yet” and others) and what usually goes wrong for you, such as “People go quiet on me” or “I forget to follow up”. Each struggle shows a fix right on the page.
6. Edit your board
Section titled “6. Edit your board”Your board shows a starter set of stages for your outcome, each with its rule, next move and time limit, plus Won, Not now and Lost. Click any text to change it, add or remove stages, and watch the checks: the board warns you if a stage is named like a task, is missing a rule or a time limit, or if you have fewer than 4 or more than 7 stages.
7. Turn it into a plan
Section titled “7. Turn it into a plan”Press Build my pipeline plan in evyAI. It opens the evyAI Agent with one prompt built from the framework and your answers. You can also Copy the prompt to use in any AI, or See the prompt to read it first.
What comes out
Section titled “What comes out”From evyAI:
- Your final stages, with what to say at each one.
- Your weekly routine, worked back from your goal.
- The setup steps for your CRM: stage names and the fields to add.
- Your first 10 people.
- A 7-day start plan.
From the page: Copy board as a table and Print or save PDF.
Where it fits
Section titled “Where it fits”The Pipeline Stage Builder designs the board. The SOP Builder writes the whole system around it. The Warm List is a ready-made follow-up board for the people who engage with your posts, and the Networking Templates give you the messages for the early stages. See the full set on the evyAI Tools overview.
Limits
Section titled “Limits”- It designs the pipeline; it is not a CRM. You move real people through the stages in your own CRM, sheet or board.
- Your answers live in this browser on this computer. Start over clears them, and Reload the starter board puts the default stages back.
- Switching the outcome replaces the board with a new starter set.
- Something not working? Use Report a problem on What’s New.
