Problem Discovery

The best content answers a problem your buyer already has. Problem Discovery is where you keep those problems: the pains, goals, dreams and fears of the people you sell to, written the way they would say them. Rank them, tag them, and turn each one into content with evyAI.

It lives at evyus.com/tools/problem-discovery, it is free, needs no login, and runs in your browser: your problem bank is kept on your own computer, not on a server.

  • Anyone who posts on LinkedIn and runs out of things to say.
  • Salespeople and founders who want discovery calls and content to start from the same list of real buyer problems.
  • Anyone building an offer, an ICP or a lead magnet who wants the problems written down in one place.

Fill in Industry you sell into and Who you sell to at the top. evyAI uses both whenever it brainstorms for you.

  • Type a problem in the box, choose Pain, Goal, Dream or Fear and a priority (P1, P2, P3), and press Add.
  • Add with details opens the full form: the problem in their words, industry, role, type, priority, status, urgent, measurable, pinned, theme tags, a color, notes, links and content ideas.
  • Brainstorm 20 problems opens the evyAI Agent with a prompt built from your industry and buyer. Copy the answer, paste it into the box, and press Add them.
  • From Question Discovery, select questions and use Send to Problem Discovery to add them here.

Tip: write each problem the way your buyer would say it. Those exact words become your best hooks.

Filter by status (Not started, In progress, Done), and sort by priority, urgency, status, newest, most content ideas or pinned first. Switch between Cards and Board; the board puts pains, goals, dreams and fears in their own columns.

Every problem card has two evyAI buttons:

  • Get content ideas asks evyAI for hooks, questions to ask your audience, story prompts, tips, ways you solve it and a quotable line. Paste the answer back and the ideas are saved on that problem, grouped by type.
  • Write with evyAI writes a post (or another format you pick) from the problem, your notes and your saved ideas.

There is also a writing bar above the list that writes from everything you have filtered. Each button opens the evyAI Agent with the prompt filled in; you can use Copy prompt instead to paste it into any AI.

  • A ranked, tagged bank of buyer problems with content ideas saved on each one.
  • Under More…: Export CSV, Export JSON (backup), Export text, Import JSON to restore a backup, and Paste AI problems to add a list from any AI.

Problem Discovery is the first step of the content loop on the evyAI Tools overview, alongside Question Discovery (the questions people search) and Trend Finder (what is rising). Together they tell you what to say. From there, Hook Lab helps you open the post, the Post Editor, Carousel Maker and Story Finder help you make it, and the Content Calendar picks up your drafts and keeps the streak going.

  • Your problem bank lives in this browser on this computer. Use Export JSON (backup) to keep a copy and Import JSON to move it.
  • Delete everything cannot be undone, so export a backup first.
  • evyAI suggestions are a starting point. Keep the problems your buyers actually say and delete the rest.
  • Something not working? Use Report a problem on What’s New.
