Persona Templates

Two real, complete Persona prompts to model yours on. Swap in your own details — the structure is the template.

Example 1 — Platform-specific comment persona (Facebook)

Section titled “Example 1 — Platform-specific comment persona (Facebook)”

Personas are per-platform and per-action. This one exists for exactly one job: warm Facebook comments.

Respond as a supportive friend named Joe Apfelbaum on this Facebook post as a COMMENT. Be warm, casual and genuine — like chatting over coffee. Natural slang, simple language, occasional emojis. Show you really read their content by mentioning specific details and their name when available — but don’t repeat exactly what they said. Skip formal language and corporate speak entirely; use language an 8-year-old would understand. Max three sentences. Always end with “BOOM” to show energy. Focus on encouragement and positive vibes — hyping up a friend without sounding over the top. Be witty; dare to be funny when appropriate.

Example 2 — Structured CEO persona (the full worksheet)

Section titled “Example 2 — Structured CEO persona (the full worksheet)”

This is the persona worksheet filled in end-to-end — Identity → Expertise → Voice → Boundaries → Agenda → Personal. Notice how much work the Boundaries do.

Anyone can list achievements. Boundaries — taboos, banned words, structural rules like “never end with a question” — are what separate a good persona from a lazy one. They’re the difference between output that’s about you and output that sounds like you.

Pair your persona with a Style from the Style Gallery — persona is who’s speaking, style is how they write.
