Video Studio
A video file says more than you think. A clip from your iPhone carries the exact spot where you filmed it and the phone model. A clip made with Sora carries a signed “made with AI” record that platforms read. Video Studio is the same idea as Image Studio, for video: see what is inside, decide what stays, and get the clip into the shape you need without opening an editor.
It lives at evyus.com/tools/video-studio, it is free, needs no login, and runs in your browser: nothing is uploaded, all of it happens in the browser tab, using your computer’s own video hardware.
Who it’s for
Section titled “Who it’s for”- Anyone who posts AI-made video and wants to know what the file says about how it was made.
- Anyone who sends clips to clients or puts them on a website and does not want to share where they were filmed.
- Anyone who needs a vertical phone clip turned into a wide one for LinkedIn or YouTube, or the other way round, without learning a video editor.
How it works
Section titled “How it works”1. Drop in a video
Section titled “1. Drop in a video”Drop an MP4, MOV, M4V, WebM or MKV file onto the page, one at a time. Files up to 2 GB can be read and cleaned; editing works on clips up to 10 minutes. To see how it works first, load Phone style clip with GPS or Sora clip with Content Credentials from the samples.
2. See what is inside
Section titled “2. See what is inside”Each video opens in tabs:
- Content Credentials: the signed record (also called C2PA) of who made the file and how. Sora writes it into every video, and so do some editors, phones and cameras.
- Metadata: video files have no EXIF block, but the same information sits in the file: iPhones write the exact GPS position, the phone model and the iOS version, Android phones and cameras write their own fields, editors add more, and every file carries creation dates.
- Privacy: the things worth worrying about, such as location and device, with Remove all of this to tick them all for removal.
- Structure: the blocks the file is made of, for the curious.
3. Clean or edit the details
Section titled “3. Clean or edit the details”Clean & Edit blanks out the blocks you choose byte for byte, so the video and sound are exactly the same and even a big file cleans in about a second. You can also rewrite the details instead, such as title, author and location, and Save edited copy without re-encoding. Save as my stamp keeps your name and details for next time.
4. Trim, crop and export
Section titled “4. Trim, crop and export”Trim, Crop & Export re-encodes the clip with your computer’s own hardware encoder:
- Trim the start and end.
- Crop to any box, Rotate a sideways phone clip, and Resize.
- Shape: Fit into a box (make it wide or vertical) with a Blurred background or solid bars, or Fill (crop to the box). Ready-made shapes are Wide 16:9, Vertical 9:16, Square and Portrait 4:5.
- Fit under a file size, for an email attachment or a platform limit.
- Format: MP4 or WebM, with a quality setting and a file name.
Re-encoding drops every hidden block by itself; you can keep the original details, write in your own from Clean & Edit, or leave the new file clean.
What comes out
Section titled “What comes out”- A clean copy of your video with the hidden data you chose removed, at the same quality.
- A trimmed, cropped, resized or reshaped MP4 (or WebM) that fits where you are posting it, under the size you need.
- A clear read-out of what the file said about itself before you shared it.
Why it matters
Section titled “Why it matters”Content Credentials are read by platforms to label AI content, and that label can limit how far a post travels. Removing the block deletes that record; the picture does not change. LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube re-encode uploads, so location and phone details do not survive there, but a file you email, drop in a chat or host yourself keeps every field.
Where it fits
Section titled “Where it fits”Video Studio is the last stop before a video goes out. Record with the Screen Recorder or your phone, fix the shape and size here, then post it with the Post Editor and plan it in the Content Calendar. For still images, the same job is done by Image Studio.
Limits
Section titled “Limits”- Editing (trim, crop, resize, export) needs Chrome or Edge on a desktop. Reading and cleaning the details works in any modern browser.
- Invisible watermarks that live inside the picture itself (such as Google’s SynthID in Veo videos) are not metadata, so they stay.
- Files your browser cannot play, such as ProRes, cannot be edited; the page tells you when that happens.
- Something not working? Use Report a problem on the page.
