The AI Writer: Goal, Tone, Persona, Style

Every generation in evyAI runs through four dials that are yours:

Persona = who is speaking. Tone = how they feel. Goal = why they’re speaking. Style = how they write.

That’s why evyAI output doesn’t sound fake or robotic — the voice is yours, defined once and applied everywhere: comments, DMs, posts, invitation notes, recommendations, every generation type.

The side panel’s title tells you what evyAI can see:

  • “AI Writer” — writing from scratch. The AI only knows what you give it — treat the prompt box like a creative brief.
  • “Comment” / “Post” / “Recommendation” / “Connection Note” / “Invitation” / “Profile” — the AI has page context: the post, the author, the platform (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter).

Important distinction: the side panel can read what’s on your screen (in these context modes); the web app must be given context — paste it in.

  • Goal — the result you want, not the format.
  • Tone — the emotional register.
  • Persona — who is writing.
  • Style — how they write.
  • Language — multilingual output in one click.
  • LLM — choose the engine on Pro: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or Grok. Experiment — different engines have different strengths.
  • Templates — pre-built frameworks from the Library.
  • Add an Image — used as generation context: captions, event photos, screenshots.
  • Command/Prompt box — be specific; treat it like a creative brief.
  • Microphone — speak your prompt; evyAI transcribes. “Your ideas are most powerful when they’re fresh.”

Set up one Persona and one Style first — then every generation everywhere sounds like you. Shortcut: the style-interview tutorial.
