Connection vs Follower

LinkedIn caps connections at 30,000, but followers are unlimited. Connections are your network; followers are your audience.

How to use it

• Connect with people you want relationships with: prospects, referral partners, peers.
• Let everyone else follow. A Follow button on your profile makes that easy.
• Grow both steadily: about 20 thoughtful connection requests a day compounds into roughly 1,000 new connections every 90 days (see 1-5-10-20).
