AI Slop
In one sentenceLow-effort, generic AI content that floods feeds and inboxes. The opposite of what you want your brand known for.
What it means
Slop is AI output published without thought or editing: vague posts full of buzzwords, obviously templated comments, fake-deep listicles. Audiences have learned to spot it and scroll past.
Common tells include overused phrases ("in today's fast-paced world", "let's dive in"), heavy em dash use, and comments that could apply to any post.
How to use it
- Use AI to draft, then add something only you could add: a real story, a number from your business, an opinion.
- Read it out loud. If it does not sound like you, rewrite it.
- Comment on the specific point someone made, not a generic "Great insights!"
In evyAI
evyAI writes from your Persona and Style and reads the post you are commenting on, so the comment is about that post, not a generic reply. The free Unicode Post Editor also flags common AI phrases before you post.
