Value Proposition
and USP
In one sentenceThe clear promise of what result a customer gets from you and why you are the better choice. Your USP (unique selling proposition) is the part only you can claim.
What it means
A strong value proposition answers three questions in one or two sentences: who is it for, what result do they get, and why you instead of the alternatives.
The USP is the "why you": a specific method, guarantee, speed, specialty or proof that competitors cannot copy easily.
How to use it
- Formula: "We help [ICP] get [result] in [timeframe] without [pain], using [your unique method]."
- Put it in your LinkedIn headline and About section, your website hero and your intro messages.
- Test it: if a competitor could say the exact same sentence, it is not unique yet.
