Agentic AI

What it means

"Agentic" describes how much independence an AI system has. Low agency: it answers one question. High agency: it runs a whole process, calling tools and making decisions along the way.

It is one of the biggest shifts in AI right now: moving from "AI helps me write" to "AI does the task".

How to use it

• Map a process you do every week, step by step. The steps that are rule-based and repetitive are agent candidates.
• Give agents clear permissions and limits, and review their output before it reaches customers.
