Facebook Post Saver

Save the latest posts from any Facebook profile, page or group: the full post text, date, link, likes, comments, shares and what kind of post it was. Great for studying what someone's audience responds to, repurposing your own posts, or prepping before a call.

Paste the posts

Best: the Copy button

Drag this to your bookmarks bar (one button for posts, comments, likes, groups, friends and followers; if you dragged it before, drag it again for the newer version):

Copy for evyAI

  1. Open the profile, page or group on Facebook (the main feed, not a single post).
  2. Click Copy for evyAI in your bookmarks bar and type how many posts you want (30 is the default).
  3. It scrolls down, opens each post's full text and grabs its date and link. When it says Loaded, click Copy (or Stop and copy any time), then come back here and press Ctrl+V.

Keep the Facebook tab open and visible while it works; about a second per post.

Or copy by hand

  1. Scroll the feed until the posts you want are showing, and click See more on long ones.
  2. Press Ctrl+A, Ctrl+C, come back here and press Ctrl+V.

A hand copy gets the author and post text. Facebook leaves the like, comment and share counts out of a normal copy and only reveals each post's date and link when you hover over it, so those need the Copy button.

Nothing leaves your browser; the table is built on this page.
