EOS
Entrepreneurial Operating System: Rocks, L10, Scorecard
In one sentenceA popular management system for small and mid-size companies, with its own vocabulary: Rocks, Level 10 meetings, the Scorecard and more.
What it means
EOS, from Gino Wickman's book Traction, gives a business a simple set of tools. Vision/Traction Organizer (V/TO): the plan on two pages. Rocks: the 3 to 7 most important 90-day priorities. Scorecard: a weekly set of numbers that show the health of the business. Level 10 (L10) meeting: a structured weekly leadership meeting. IDS: Identify, Discuss, Solve, the method for working through issues. Accountability Chart: who owns what.
How to use it
- Even without the full system, two habits help any company: quarterly Rocks and a weekly scorecard.
- Keep Rocks few and specific, with one owner each.
How AI helps
AI can draft your Rocks from your goals, prepare an L10 agenda, summarize the meeting from a recording and turn issues into to-dos.
