About

Lucas Huang is the Co-Founder of B-Line Medical, a video-driven healthcare education and simulation company that grew to 500+ installations across hospitals, medical schools, and nursing programs in 28 countries before its 2019 acquisition by Laerdal Medical. Trained as an engineer with dual bachelor's degrees in Electrical and Aerospace Engineering from NC State, he worked as a systems and test engineer before leading the team that redesigned the control center for the Hubble Space Telescope into one of the first fully web-based satellite control centers. Before B-Line, he founded a web-based data aggregation and mining consultancy that did work for Lockheed Martin, NASA, and the National Education Association. He stays active on large healthcare projects and is a vocal advocate for recording all delivered care to improve patient outcomes.
