What is this directory?
A member directory built by the chapter, for the chapter — all 94 of us in one place: who we are, what we're building, and who you should grab a 1:1 with next. It exists because a bridge chapter doesn't have a clubhouse; this is ours. Built by Joe Apfelbaum (Marketing Chair) and powered by evyAI.
Who can see my information?
Three layers, by design. The public layer shows only what a conference badge would: your name, photo, company, industry, and city. The speakeasy layer — everything richer (your bio, fun facts, conversation starters, suggested 1:1s, LinkedIn highlights) — sits behind the chapter door and is meant for members. And a third layer never appears on this site at all: your email, phone number, home address, birthday, and family details are not published anywhere here. Anyone who wants to contact you is routed to your official EO profile, which requires an EO login.
What's the speakeasy password?
Two words — the reason you joined a bridge chapter instead of a local one. Every member knows them. If they're not coming to you, ask in the chapter WhatsApp or ask any member at an event. (If you arrived from your personal email link, the door opened for you automatically.)
Where did my profile info come from?
Public sources only: your EO profile, your LinkedIn, your company website, and published interviews or articles. It was organized into a profile for you — because we know entrepreneurs never fill out forms — and nothing private was used. You get final say: see the next question.
How do I change, add, or remove something?
Reply to the profile email you received from hello@evyai.com and tell us what to change — we make the edits for you, no forms or logins. Want to be less visible? The same email has a one-tap option to minimize your listing to name-only, or ask to be removed entirely and we'll do that too.
What is “Who You Should Meet”?
Suggested 1:1s, matched member-by-member on complementary needs (what you're looking for against what another member offers), shared industry and interests, being in the same city, and pairing new members with EO veterans. It deliberately skips your forum-mates — you already see them every month. Every suggestion shows the reasons, so you can open a 1:1 with something better than “so… what do you do?”
Why does my profile show my LinkedIn followers and posts?
That section mirrors what's already public on your LinkedIn — follower and connection counts, badges, skills, and your recent public posts — so members can see what you're talking about before a 1:1 and connect with you where you're active. It refreshes periodically. If you'd rather not show it, reply to your profile email and we'll hide that section.
Is my data sold or used for marketing?
No. This is a chapter-internal tool. Nothing is sold, nothing is shared outside the chapter context, and the private layer (contact details, family, birthdays) is never displayed. evyAI powers the technology as a chapter contribution — that's the extent of the commercial relationship.
I clicked approve (or minimize) by accident — help?
No problem. Reply to your profile email or write to hello@evyai.com and we'll reset it. (Fun fact: corporate email scanners click links too, so the buttons require a real human tap on a confirmation page before anything counts.)
My photo / title / company is out of date.
Reply to your profile email with the correction (or a new headshot) and we'll have it live within a day or two. The directory rebuilds in minutes, so nothing stays stale for long.
Can my other chapter get one of these?
That's the plan — US East Bridge is the first. If you're in another chapter (or know a board member who should see this), write to hello@evyai.com and we'll show them what's possible.
Still stuck? Email hello@evyai.com — a human (Joe) reads every message.
