A page image keeps what text alone loses: charts, tables, handwriting, forms, signatures and layout. 1568 px on the long side is about the largest size AI chat apps read without shrinking it first. If your chat limits how many images you can attach, pick the pages that matter on the left or use 2 or 4 pages per image.
