What Claude Code did
Claude Code built a live local-business finder: real-time Maps searches via SerpAPI, automatic matching against evyAI's enrichment engine, sorted results, and pages formatted so LLMs can read them cleanly. When AI crawlers found it and started hammering the paid API, Claude Code added a bot gate that protects the spend while still welcoming the crawl.
