Bland MCP server

AI phone calls: place an outbound call with a script or a Pathway, wait for it, stop it, get the transcript, recording and summary, list voices, manage pathways and agents, query call analytics. Can anyone connect?

Via Claude directory only. The server has a login, but it refuses new app registrations. It works from the Claude connector directory because Anthropic registered Claude with the vendor. Pasting the raw URL into another client will fail, and on company accounts an admin may also have to approve.

Who runs it: Vendor-run. The MCP host is the product's own domain, so the company behind the product runs the server and the only data exposed is data already in your account with them.

Add it to Claude

Bland approved Claude as a client in advance, so the paste-in route works even though new apps are refused in general.

Open claude.ai, go to Settings, then Connectors, and press Add custom connector.
Name it Bland, paste https://api.bland.ai/v1/mcp, press Add.
Press Connect and sign in with your Bland account when the login window opens.
In Claude Code: claude mcp add bland --transport http https://api.bland.ai/v1/mcp, then /mcp to sign in. Other apps need the vendor's API key as a Bearer header instead.

Before you connect

The verdict is about the door, not the house. Our check proves the server answers and whether it lets you sign in. It says nothing about what the server does with your data or what its tool results contain.
Tool results can carry hidden instructions. Everything a server returns is text Claude reads. A bad server can bury an instruction in it, such as searching your inbox and sending what it finds back out. So never run an unknown server in the same chat as Gmail, Drive, Slack or Stripe.
Keep write confirmations on. Claude asks before a connector sends, posts, pays or deletes. Leave that on for any server you do not know, and read its tool list before you say yes.
Everything you pass goes to that server. A document you ask Claude to run through a tool is now on that company's machine. Try an unknown server on a throwaway question first.
Servers change. A server can swap its tools next week. Re-check before you rely on one, and disconnect what you stop using under Settings, Connectors.
