New ยท evyAI connector for Claude (MCP)

Talk to Claude. evyAI does the work.

evyAI now plugs directly into Claude. Add it once and your whole LinkedIn system is one conversation away: it writes in your voice, saves your templates, manages your connections, sets your follow ups, finds prospects and publishes to LinkedIn. No tabs. No copy and paste.

Works with Claude on a paid plan (Pro, Max, Team or Enterprise) and any evyAI account. Automate your tech, not your relationships.

What an MCP really is

MCP stands for Model Context Protocol. Forget the name. Here is what it actually means for you.

๐Ÿ”Œ

A plug, not a bot

MCP is an open standard, a shared plug, that lets an AI assistant use another app's features as tools. Think of it as USB-C for AI. evyAI built the plug. Claude knows how to use it.

Before MCP, Claude could only talk. Now it can act inside evyAI.

๐Ÿง

Claude is the brain, evyAI is the hands

You say what you want in plain English. Claude works out which evyAI tool to use (write a post, save a connection, schedule a publish) and evyAI does it in your account, in your voice, with your data.

Claude never sees LinkedIn. evyAI does that part.

๐Ÿ”

You stay in charge

You sign in with your evyAI login. You never paste a password into Claude. Claude asks before it acts, you see every result as a link into evyAI, and you can disconnect it any time from Settings.

Nothing gets published unless you ask for it.

Before: nine steps across four tabs

  1. Open LinkedIn, find the person you met
  2. Copy their profile details
  3. Open evyAI, save them as a connection
  4. Type a note about where you met
  5. Ask evyAI to write a follow up message
  6. Copy the message
  7. Back to LinkedIn, paste and send
  8. Open your calendar, set a reminder
  9. Repeat for the next three people

Now: one sentence to Claude

I met these 4 people at today's event: [names and notes]. Save each one in my evyAI connections, add a note about where we met, write a personal follow up message for each, and add a to-do to follow up in 3 days.

Claude calls evyAI four times, shows you the four messages, and the to-dos are waiting in evyAI. You spend the saved time having real conversations.

What the evyAI connector gives Claude

Your inside world

  • Your profile: role, company, offer, audience, tone
  • Your personas and writing styles
  • Your templates (assets)
  • Your connections, notes, lists and to-dos
  • Your campaigns and LinkedIn publishing
  • Prospect search and profile preview
  • Images with you in them
  • What the Agent remembers about you
What Claude brings on its own

The outside world

  • Web search and current news
  • Documents, PDFs and notes you share with it
  • Your other connectors: calendar, email, docs
  • Reasoning: plans, comparisons, rewrites, summaries
  • Your voice and your network (that is evyAI)
  • Posting to LinkedIn (that is evyAI)

This is the real story. Claude brings the outside world. evyAI brings who you are, who you know, and the ability to act. Connect them and the loop closes: research, write, save, follow up and publish without leaving the chat.

Set it up in 6 steps

About five minutes. You only do this once.

01

Get your accounts ready

You need an active evyAI account and a Claude account. Custom connectors need a paid Claude plan (Pro, Max, Team or Enterprise).

Want Claude to post to LinkedIn for you? Log into evyAI and connect your LinkedIn account there first.

02

Open API and MCP in evyAI

Log into evyAI, go to Settings, and click API and MCP.

Direct link: app.evyai.com/app/me/api-access

03

Add the custom connector in Claude

In Claude, click Customize, then add a custom connector. Name it evyAI and paste in the connector URL below.

04

Log in and set Always allow

Claude asks if you want to log in. Click Log in and sign in to your evyAI account.

Then set evyAI's access to Always allow, so Claude does not stop to ask permission every single time.

05

Fill out your evyAI profile

This is your secret weapon. Add your role, company, offer, audience and tone in evyAI Settings.

The more Claude knows about you, the more the content sounds like you.

06

Run your first test

Paste this into Claude:

Use evyAI to read my profile, then create an asset called New Connection Thank You that I can send to new LinkedIn connections.

If Claude comes back with a link to your new asset in evyAI, you are connected. BOOM.

What you can do once it's connected

Every card is a real evyAI tool Claude can now call. Copy a prompt, paste it into Claude, and watch it happen.

Power prompts: chain things together

The real magic happens when one sentence triggers five tools. These are the ones Joe runs every week.

The Weekly Content Machine

Five posts, approved by you, scheduled for the week. Monday morning, done.

Read my evyAI profile. Write 5 LinkedIn posts for this week on my core topics. Show them to me first. Once I approve, schedule them Monday through Friday at 9am Eastern.

The Post-Event Follow Up

Turn a pocket full of business cards into saved relationships with the follow up already written.

I met these 4 people at today's event: [names and notes]. Save each one in my evyAI connections, add a note about where we met, write a personal follow up message for each, and add a to-do to follow up in 3 days.

The Template Library Builder

Ten networking templates in your voice, saved where the evyAI extension can reach them.

Create 10 evyAI assets for my networking: connection thank yous, event follow ups, intros, congrats comments and reconnect messages. Write them in my voice.

The Monday Morning Brief

Your week's follow ups, summarized and emailed to you before your first coffee.

List my open evyAI to-dos, tell me who I need to follow up with this week, and email me the summary.

Why this matters more than it looks

A connector sounds like a small feature. It changes what evyAI is.

evyAI stopped being only an app. It is now a set of tools any AI assistant can pick up. Today that assistant is Claude. MCP is an open standard, so the same plug works wherever the standard is supported. You learn one connector and your LinkedIn system travels with you.

Your profile is the multiplier. Every tool reads your evyAI profile, personas and styles before it writes. Five minutes filling those in makes every future prompt sound like you instead of like a robot. Most people skip this step. Do not.

The loop closes. Research used to live in one tab, writing in another, your contacts in a third and your reminders in a fourth. With Claude holding the outside world and evyAI holding yours, one conversation runs the whole thing: find the person, learn about them, write the message, save the note, set the follow up, publish the post.

The rule still stands. Automate your tech, not your relationships. Let Claude handle the busywork so you can spend more time having real conversations with real people.

๐Ÿงฐ

Pair it with the free tools

The evyAI Tools hub has 90 free utilities: savers, link cleaners, trend and question finders, a YouTube transcript tool and more. Every one ends with a button that hands its result to evyAI.

๐Ÿ”—

Launch the Agent from any link

Not on a paid Claude plan? The evyAI Agent URL launch starts a research session from one link, no connector needed.

๐ŸŽ“

Learn it live

Free office hours every weekday at 12pm and 7pm Eastern at evyai.com/success. Bring your first prompt and we will run it together.

๐Ÿ’ฌ

Share what you built

Post the first thing you had Claude do in evyAI in the AI for LinkedIn community. The best prompts end up on this page.

Good to know

๐Ÿ‘€

Always ask for the draft first. Published posts cannot be taken back. Say "show me before you publish" and Claude will.

๐Ÿ•˜

Say your time zone. "9am Eastern", not "9am". Without it, scheduling defaults to UTC and your post lands at 5am.

๐Ÿ“

Campaigns start as drafts. Open them in evyAI to review the posts and launch. Nothing goes out on its own.

๐Ÿ’›

Templates are a starting point. Personalize before you send. Relationships are built on real interest in the other person.

๐Ÿชช

It acts as you. The connector uses your evyAI login and does what you could do yourself: no more, no less. Disconnect it any time from Settings › API and MCP or from Claude's connector settings.

โšก

Always allow is a convenience. It stops Claude pausing for permission on every step. If you would rather approve each action, leave it off. Both work.

๐Ÿช™

Writing and images use your evyAI plan exactly the way they do inside the app. Reading your profile, saving connections, notes and to-dos is free.

๐Ÿ› ๏ธ

Building something? The same tools are available as a REST API with a personal token from the same Settings page. One token acts as one user.
